Contribute to the 100 Cameras Project!
Each $10 contribution goes directly into the 100 Cameras Project. Due to an incredible interest and need, Courtney Bent, producer and subject of Shooting Beauty, is setting out to replicate the workshop featured in the film by adapting and providing for free 100 camera systems for 100 individuals of all ages with varying degrees of developmental and intellectual disabilities. She will travel to communities throughout the country, providing these new photographers with a 2-3 day photography workshop that will culminate in local photography exhibits aimed at encouraging a community-wide conversation around disability, tolerance, diversity and the possibilities of what we can all do when given a camera, a voice and a chance. If successful, the exhibits will not only empower and build confidence in the new photographers but will stand as an example of the potential of art to heal, to inspire, and to prove to all of us that no matter what our ability levels are, we have more in common than what meets the eye
